FROM SEPTEMBER 2017
EVERY FAMILY will be eligible for financial childcare support for ANY child aged between 6-36 months in full or part-time Tusla registered childcare and in contract with DCYA. This subsidy will not be MEANS TESTED and therefore will be available for families at any income level.
The Universal Subsidy will be available for all children between the ages of six months and the time at which they are eligible for the free pre-school programme and who are not receiving any targeted CCS subvention.
Further childcare supports will be available for many more children up to the age of 15 years.
CAN I GET HELP WITH CHILDCARE COSTS?
|If you are a parent/guardian who:||· Holds a Medical Card or GP Visit Card
· Is on Low Income
· Is in School
· In Further Education
· Job Training
· In Receipt of a Social Welfare Payment
THEN YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR CCSP ASSISTANCE WITH YOUR CHILDCARE COSTS
CCSP is Subvented under 4 different bands. To see which band you are eligible under please see Attached : Band Eligibilty

* Parents who qualify for Band AJ under jobseeker’s allowance/benefit receive maximum subvented

*** Please note GP Visit Card for children 0-6 years of age does not qualify for CCS/CCSP
